How long do Stapelstein® elements last?

All elements are water-repellent and weather-resistant. The material was tested over 60 sunny summer days at an air temperature of 25°C and a humidity of 50%. Thanks to its UV resistance, the color remains intact even after exposure to sunlight. In hot weather, the stones should not be left directly in the sun, as concentrated sunlight can cause very high temperatures that may damage them. The stones should also be kept away from heat sources such as stoves, fireplaces, and heaters.

We also recommend against storing Stapelstein® Originals, Stapelstein® Boards, and Stapelstein® Insides outdoors or in wet conditions for extended periods over several years. After playing outdoors, we recommend placing them individually so they can dry. Whether indoors or outdoors, Stapelstein® brings movement into your life all year round.

When used and cared for properly, the pieces can last a very long time. Of course, our products aren’t indestructible and should be used as intended.
