Can I use the Stapelstein®x Grimm's stick in the water as well?

In short: the drumstick loves rhythm, but it’s not a fan of long dives.
The Drumstick was developed in collaboration with Grimms to transform the Stapelstein® elements into resonant drums. As it is made from the natural material wood and finished with non-toxic varnish, there are a few things to bear in mind when using it with water:
Drumming by the water: Of course! If your drumheads float in the water, you can use them perfectly well as floating drums. Just make sure the drumstick stays dry.
No water toys: The stick is not suitable for prolonged contact with water. It should not be left in water or submerged.
What happens if it gets wet? Wood is a living, natural product. If it gets too damp, the wooden bead may warp or the colour may rub off slightly. Don’t worry: the colours are completely harmless, but the stick’s appearance will be affected.
First aid if the stick gets wet: If the stick does happen to get wet, it’s not the end of the world. Simply let it dry thoroughly in the air (please do not place it directly on a hot radiator, as this may cause the wood to crack).
Our tip: Treat your drumstick like a precious musical instrument – that way, it’ll remain a long-lasting companion on your musical journeys!
